Purpose

I believe that communication is a fascinating gift.  I am using letters - no more than scribbles - to move an idea from my head into yours across untold distance using the power of language and technological innovation. How cool is that? How powerful is that?

I also believe in working smarter, not harder. In fact, I'm very passionate about it. I'm also lucky enough to live in an age where technology (when it works) helps us to do just that: work smarter.

Language and technology - that is where my interests intersect.  I have the chance to inspire students to share their ideas with the world by learning the boring rules of comma usage and capitalization.  I also have the chance to make that learning less boring, more engaging, and more effective by understanding and successfully using technology in my classroom and my school.
